Tina Donbeck, DFC’s Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Donbeck, who joined DFC as Deputy Chief Information Officer in 2020 and was named CIO a year later, was recognized for her leadership in ensuring a successful transition from the former Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) to the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, or DFC.

As DFC launched as a modernized and expanded development institution in late 2019, Donbeck oversaw a seamless transition of people, processes and applications into a new secure environment to support DFC’s expanded mission, and later, its remote work needs.

While overseeing all the day-to-day operations of her staff, she also skillfully led a modernization of DFC’s help desk support tools to the cloud, enforced higher cyber security settings, and crafted an organizational realignment of the DFC’s IT functions to streamline and maximize performance and service.
